REOCO

REOCO was a term created by 2091riveraisrael in 2015 that was meant to describe the relationship between Project Creation Reese, and Crash Bandicoot Series character Coco Bandicoot.

It was widely shown that Reese and Coco when they first met each other during the time of the Survival of the Fastest Crises in 1999, that they were shown as good friends, although Reese was a monster, it was revealed a little bit during the continuation of Reese's presence in the Crash Bandicoot Universe that Coco was shown to have a small crush on Reese but is just too scared to show it, even though he dose not know this.

However it was revealed that Coco at age 15, during the events of Crash Bandicoot: Rally Kart was shown Kissing and holding Reese in her arms, revealing that the two maybe in a relationship.

History

Survival of the Fastest Crisis

In Crash Bandicoot: Monstrous Racers, Coco first met Reese at the time of Oxide's Survival of the Fastest Challenge, when she was at least 11-12 years old, during a race in Ripper Roo's hometrack Roo's Tubes, while his age was identified to have been either 14 to 15 years of age.

She became intrigued by Reese's abilities as a driver, and even became Impressed due to the fact that Reese's Go-kart was nothing like their own, despite not knowing what he looked like at the time, until after the race. However when the two met up face to face, after Reese woke up in the Bandicoot residence, Coco was shown to go wide eye, after stopping in her tracks and blushed, signifying the first case of REOCO.

After a brief conversation, Reese and Coco became good friends, with Coco even pestering Aku Aku to have Reese race her older brother on her track Coco Park, reveling that she fears for his safety, and might have wanted him to see her track, in order to impress him, this statement was never proven.

Reese is not shown interacting with Coco again following the end of the cutscene at Dingo Canyon, as he is mostly racing along side Crash Bandicoot, throughout the rest of the game, but it was revealed that Reese decided to remain in the Crash Bandicoot Universe after the events of Crash Bandicoot: Monstrous Racers, where it is predicted that Reese might have stayed in order to remain with Coco Bandicoot in hopes of staying away from his ex-girlfriend.

Crystal Heist

In Crash Bandicoot: Crystal Heist, Reese and Coco's relationship, is still on good terms, however he is eventually ordered around by Coco as this was proven in the beginning of the game. As Reese is shown sitting on a rock in the jungle while Crash Bandicoot is napping on the ground and Coco is typing on her computer until her laptop dies.

Annoyed on it having to run out of battery power again, she sends both Reese and Crash to go back to the house in order to get a new battery for her laptop in hopes of finishing her work, however, while on the way in order to make it down the path back towards the house, Reese is soon teleported out of the ruins much to Crash's confusion, and is sent to a Warp room in order to gather Crystals for a young girl named Nina Cortex.

Throughout the course of the entire game, Coco constantly calls Reese constantly begging him to be careful, while at the same time showing suspicions on Nina's antics of him gathering crystals for her. After gathering 5 more crystals on the third Warp Room, Reese was contacted by Neo Cortex, where he declared that his gathering of Crystals was indeed a noble thing to do for his niece, but then cuts to the chase and states that he wishes for him to gather gems in order to contain an outbreak of dark matter that is rising in outer space.

Though Reese doesn't believe Cortex's story, he just smirks and says "Its the only way to leave, Good luck." Before leaving, Coco eventually calls Reese again, and eventually tells him that her suspicions on Nina is getting her worried, and even went as far as to sending Crash to aide Reese in the remaining of Crystal runs, after Reese was able to place a crystal in one of the worlds in the third warp room.

After gathering all 25 Crystals, Coco calls both Crash and Reese again through the Warp Room cameras and warns him that another women is the true master mind of the heist, and that she is gathering crystals in hopes of salvaging power from them in order to become a goddess. Reese and Crash, are able to defeat Nina Cortex on the way to the mysterious women, who was later identified as Aimi, Reese and Crash were able to defeat Aimi, before allowing the Crystal's energy to be drained further forcing Aimi into retreating and into hiding.

At the end of the game, it is revealed that Nina Cortex was bribed by Aimi in order to gather crystals, in order to receive the power of all of them, however Coco's accusation for Nina might have been an act of jealousy, as it is revealed by the end of the game, that she didn't like that fact that he was gathering crystals for her, even though she apologizes for the misunderstanding in the end..

Time Warp Disaster

In the events of Crash Bandicoot: Warp Disaster, Reese and Coco don't interact much during this game, as Coco was known to be present in the warp room most of the time, while Reese and Crash Bandicoot, conducted rounds in order to gather a large quality of about 11 Time relics before Cortex could use them in order to turn back time and rule the world.

However the Coco states in the end of the game, that Reese impresses her as usual, signifying that she might have been watching him the whole time through the warp room computers.

Galaxy Championship

During the events of Crash Bandicoot: Galaxy Champion, Reese is blackmailed by Dr Cortex into racing with Team Cortex, due to containing actual evidence of Reese not being native to the Crash Bandicoot universe (Though this would be proven false in later games), and threatening to expose him to the master of games, if he didn't do as he was told. During most of the game, Coco works hard alongside Crash Bandicoot in hopes of eliminating Cortex's proof, and bring Reese back into Team Bandicoot, during the final stages of the game, Reese was finally able to break ties with Cortex and return back to team Bandicoot, where he was hugged by Coco, for a few seconds before she pulled away and looked embarrassed with a hysterical laugh of nervousness.

Towards the end of the game, Crash teases Coco by doing kissy faces towards her, while pointing between her and Reese, this is the first game, where Coco's crush on Reese is revealed to the gamers.

Motor City Incident

In Crash Bandicoot: Motor Racers, Reese is mostly shown giving Coco advice on how to make her kart move faster while at the same time racing her in his 30b in order to teach her how to be a better driver for go-kart racing. During the course of the game, he even goes as far as too aiding Coco while attempting to find out who is responsible for stealing Motor city's supplement of crystals, which kept the racing park active, while at the same time was used as a power source for an ultimate weapon that could be used to destroy Motor City, if fallen into the wrong hands.

However Coco is able to identify who the perpetrator is, when she learns that the one who is responsible loves wumpa fruits and shakes, Reese is eventually shown drinking a Wumpa smoothie where everyone accuses him for the crime, much to his confusion.

Coco is crushed, and scolds him yelling how he could do such a thing, while Reese is completely clueless and lost in thought, until Crash points at his smoothie, causing him to panic, where he immediately attempts to calm the crowd stating that he is innocent, and that he was not the perpetrator. Coco is infuriated along side Crash who walks behind her with arms crossed, which was something rare to Reese.

Mayor of Motor City and mascot Wumbawrinkle immediately declares Reese to be an infidel and is forced out of the championship, as punishment for his crimes. Reese tries to reason with Coco, but the young Bandicoot who is blinded by rage and supposed betrayal just waves him off, and walks away while Crash just stares at him while he is taken away.

Reese is not seen throughout the rest of the championship, until the final race, when Crash Bandicoot was able to finally find out who the real perpetrator was, and immediately was able to reveal to Coco that he was never the culprit, into which during Reese's sentencing to be oiled and covered in fruits, Coco was able to intervene alongside Crash and finally declare Reese's innocents. After the championship, that was won by both Crash Bandicoot and Reese, Wumbawrinkle was then confronted by all the racing contestants, as he revealed that he was the perpetrator all along, and unleashes the Mega Death Machine against the competitors trapping all, except for Crash and Reese.

During the fight Coco is constantly watching Reese as the fight ensures, pleading for him not to get hurt, until Crash was able to destroy the robot, but knocking Wumbawrinkle out of the seat of the controls. In the end of the fight, the deed of Motor City that was given to team bandicoot for their victory in the championship was then passed over by Coco to retired mayor Ogleway, whom happily claimed the city back into his custody.

By the end of the game, Coco apologizes to Reese for falsely accusing him, and even hugs him, where Reese just smiles and hugs back hinting that he might feel the same way for Coco, as Crash just smiles and claps his hands in the background.

10th Dimension Disaster

In the events of Crash Bandicoot: 10th Dimension, Reese is concern when Coco disappears, and goes out looking for her with Crash Bandicoot, only to be ambushed by Dr Neo Cortex, where they then encounter the Mecha Bandicoot Mark 2. Upon defeating Cortex, 2 twin parrots, thought to have been devoured alive unzips and enters reality, where they surprise a horrified Cortex, and declare that their world will now be destroyed completely, the twins then summon a fully robotic Mecha, far larger than the Mecha Bandicoot, but Crash Reese and Cortex are able to defeat it, forcing the enraged Twins to retreat back to the tenth dimension.

Cortex, knowing that the threat of his formal pets have reemerge again, decides to work with Crash once more, but states that he doesn't know where Coco is, as he didn't paralyze her this time. Aku Aku however is able to locate where Coco is being held on Igora Island, an Island where the naughty students of Madam Amberly's Academy of Evil would torment and taunt good people for no reason. With this information, Reese, Crash and Cortex are able to free Coco, who is thrilled to see her brother but is horrified to see Cortex, before Cortex can launch an explanation, the Evil twins return again, and unleash a large swarm of ants to destroy the duo.

Crash, Reese, and Cortex are able to defeat the attack wave again, and force the evil twins to escape once again. Coco declares that she saw the Twins talking to Madame Amberly, where it was later hinted that the founder of the Academy of Evil was working side by side with the Evil Twin parrots. Cortex then devises a plan to enter the Academy of Evil to confront Madame Amberly, While the team makes their way through the Academy fighting room by room, and dodging acid, Cortex is able to once again unleash the help of his niece Nina Cortex, who then clears the way for the group to make it to the roof tops, however Crash once again misunderstands Cortex's orders and his airship is once again flying away with a school bus attached to it, forcing Nina to dodge it, and make her way into another room.

After meeting up with Cortex in the room, the evil scientist destroys a group of Invading ants, and regroups with Reese, Crash and Coco, in another room, where the group eventually follows Cortex into Madam Amberly's domain, where Cortex fought her the last time. However while moving onto the Organ pipes Coco grabs Reese's shoulder and states for him to be careful, before he hopped onto the platform with Crash and Cortex, however the group is ambushed as the planform drops separating the boys from the girls on the platform and the boys on the Oregon pipes. Madam Amberly soon approaches from newly designed dangling chains, in which she declares to be unbreakable, Cortex attempts scolds Madam Amberly for her role with the Evil Twins, but she declares him to be too much of a cry baby, who would have to rely on his enemies and niece to do everything for him, as a result a fight ensures, however during the course, Reese and Crash are soon knocked over the edge of the pipes, while Coco screams their names from the platform where they land on the lower platform, where the duo then start to attack Ants that are appearing from the 10th dimension causing Cortex to fight Madame Amberly alone.

Cortex is once again able to defeat Madame Amberly, by cutting the cables on the sealing lose causing her to once again fall to the floor below, where her sudden impact would crush the remaining Ants, that Crash and Reese were stuck fighting. A new platform then appears, which allows Reese and Crash to regroup with Cortex, as Coco and Nina, are able to reunite with the boys where Coco immediately hugs her brother and questions Reese if he is okay and if he was hurt anywhere, much to the disgusts of Cortex, but Nina scolds him, by smacking him upside the head, stating that he had her worried too.

After gathering the crystals from the Academy, the team makes it back to Cortex Castle, where he activates the Warp Room allowing them to travel once again to the 10th dimension. Upon arriving in the 10th dimension, the team once again encounter Evil Crash who chases Cortex once again, but he is saved by Crash who is able to clear his way of all obstacles further allowing him to escape Evil Crash once again. The group then fight their way through different directions inside the Evil Twin's lair until once again they reach their throne room, where Cortex declares that playtime was officially over for the parrots now, as they will be spending the rest of their lives locked in a cage. The team is ambushed once again when the Mega Death Machine is remade, but is much larger and stronger than ever. However the machine was destroyed by all five of the team members, where the Parrots were then captured by Cortex and zapped, forcing them back into their cages.

At the end of the game, Reese is shown asleep on Coco's lap, as Crash is napping next to her, she then looks around smiles and rubs his head, as Reese smiles in his sleep. This game is scheduled to be the largest hint of Coco's feelings for Reese.

Reality Disaster

In Crash Bandicoot: Reality, Reese is shown most of the time gathering Crystals with Crash Bandicoot, in the beginning of the game, until it was revealed that Cortex has broken the boundaries between their universe and another, eventually sending them to the Reality Realm. The two are separated from Coco, where Reese states that he hopes she was okay, stating that he was worried for her safety. Upon gathering crystals in the first platform of the Warp Room from multiple regions in North America, Aku Aku eventually senses that a crystal had crashed some where in China. Reese decides to go alone in hopes of gathering the Crystal but Coco immediately rejects the idea, and wants to go with him.

Reese and Coco, quickly enter the warp hole, where they reach Xion, China. Despite multiple hazards in the gamafied region, Coco and Reese are able to salvage the crystal allowing the region to turn back to normal once again, but the region was regamafied, after Dr N-Tropy established salvation in the town by deploying gems. Coco and Reese return to the region 6 days later, where both she and Reese, despite almost getting swept away by a Tsunami unleashed by N-Tropy, the duo were able to defeat N-Tropy in the town square and seize the Gems restoring the town once again back to normal.

After gathering a couple of more Crystals and Gems with Crash Bandicoot, Coco then grabs Reese and the duo attack Cortex's small fleet of stations in Earth Orbit, sealing the hole in the Boundary wall and trapping Cortex into the reality realm, Reese then ventures with Coco to the Rocky Mountains where he rides on a snowmobile with Coco sitting behind him while attempting to escape an avalanche, he then gathers a crystal in an abandon tram kart station, where he and Coco escape the region just before it Degamafied itself. He is then shown with Coco one last time, where he is shown in the Western Desert town of Nalian, where he him and Coco were able to salvage the crystal and restore the town back to its normal state.

Reese joins Coco in about 5 missions during this game, while the rest he is mostly with Crash Bandicoot, it was stated by Coco by the end of the game, that it felt more like a date, revealing that she might have purposely been wanting Reese to come with her in order to spend some time alone with him, and have her own adventure with him, in order to impress him, this theory was never determined nor proven.

Dark Bandicoot Disaster

Reese is shown during the events of both Crash Bandicoot: Betrayal and Dark Coco's Wrath, where he plays only a minor role in the first game, as he is mostly shown through cutscene and has to be rescued by Crash Bandicoot, however in Dark Coco's Wrath, he is shown to play a much larger role, as he is a playable character in certain levels, similar to Crash Bandicoot: Crystal Heist. It is revealed that during Dark Coco's revenge, Dark Coco states that Crash never told me he had such a cute friend, hinting that even Dark Coco might find Reese attractive, however Crash was able to escape the corridor, causing her attention elsewhere, giving Reese time to escape, Dark Coco then activates her mech suit and chases Reese down the corridors. She is immuned to Nitro Crates, fire, bottomless pits including heavy reinforced doors, which acts as barriers to slow her down.

During the chase, Reese is able to meet up with Crash who pulls a level and seals a super hard metal that keeps Dark Coco's mech from chasing him, and the duo continue down the second hall only for Dark Coco to appear again out from one of the doorways and chase the two. The group are able to escape her again when Coco sees her dark side coming, and pulls the switch at last minute just as Reese and Crash escape her lair, sealing her inside.

Reese then goes on to say, "I always knew you had a crush but I didn't think you would be that obsessed." This causes Crash to fall on the ground laughing as Coco blushes, hinting that Reese might have known about her crush even before the event.

Towards the end of the game, Coco becomes more protective of Reese, where she states that Dark Coco will attempt to seduce him into joining her, and even goes as far as to taking over his role to venture with her brother, in order to gather gems and relics in hopes of preventing her special mech from being powered. Though Crash and Coco are able to succeed, Reese is taken hostage by Dark Coco and placed in a cave in her lair, Coco and Crash venture back to her lair and rescue him, but Coco is cut off when her old lair starts to collapse, after Dark Coco launches her unfinished Mecha towards N-Sanity Island, causing Reese and Crash to escape through the front entrance, while Coco jumped out of the window.

Reese and Crash give chase and are able to confront Dark Coco, and a massive fight occurs between the two, Crash and Reese are able to successfully damage Dark Coco's mech, causing her to retreat while most of her minions pour out and attack the duo. They are able to defeat them but are encountered by Dark Coco's mech again, that is now replenished from damage. As the Duo start to become exhausted, from the contant self repairing Mech, Dark Coco declares herself the victory and knocks Crash Bandicoot away, and slamming her fist onto the ground causing Reese to fall, however Coco stops her with her own mecha just as she was about to grab him.

Dark Coco is able to out match her Dark counterpart, causing the machine's core overload and her to incinerate leaving nothing left of her but her clothes, finally ending the Dark Bandicoot Disaster once and for all. Towards the end of the game, Reese just holds Coco's hand and kisses causing her to smile and hold him in her arms as Crash dose an Aww moment in the background.

Kart Rally

In the beginning of Crash Bandicoot: Kart Rally, Reese is shown in the beginning of the game, where he won against Crunch in a practice race where he then proceeds to for anyone else who was on N-Sanity Island, to take a chance to step forward and try to beat him, in the 30b. Coco is the first to step up from the crow, as she smiles and Reese happily excepts, However Coco instead of racing on the N-Sanity Hill course, instructed him to meet her back at Coco Park. This leaves Reese confused at first, but he agrees to her challenge and proceeds to Coco Park where he is amazed when he sees the 15 year old appear with a much larger yet fancy looking Sport Car class Go-Kart. Coco blushes as Reese compliments on her work and states that it is a wonderful form of art.

During the challenge, Coco is able for the first time in history to finally beat Reese's 30b, which surprised most of the Islands inhabitants. Reese having no problem with losing stated that he was proud of Coco and that the Island now has a new legend. Throughout most of the game, Coco is shown racing for team bandicoot, until Nitrous Oxide returns again, with an even advanced racing hover craft, and declares Earth his once again, when he beats everyone in surprise during the tournament.

Reese then proceeds to confront Oxide, stating that he cheated, and challenged him to a fair race for the fate of the planet, as they did 5 years ago. Oxide being a man of his word agreed to the challenge, and the Island's inhabitants prepare themselves for the race.

If Reese is chose as the main playable driver, at the end of the game, where the final race will occur against Oxide Coco will hold his hand and order him to come back to her in one piece, if Coco was chosen as the playable character, Reese will grab her shoulder in a gentleway smile and say that he knows she can do this, and even goes as far as to being able to beat him in the 30b when no one else could, and that if she could be him, she can beat an alien, this would cause her to smile and receive more hope into beating Oxide. Upon which character, beats Oxide, at the end of the game, Reese is shown on a hill lying back against Coco's chest with her arms wrapped around him, while Crash was shown sitting on a rock close behind eating a wumpa fruit while fireworks sound off, signifying Oxide's departure and the end of the Rally tournament.

The way Coco cuddles Reese in her arms in thee end might reveal that at some point during the game, Coco might have revealed her feelings to Reese at the time during the crisis off screen, and that the two might be in a relationship.

Cortex Island Incident

During the events of Crash Bandicoot: Vengeance, neither Coco or Reese are present during the entire game, but it was revealed at the end of the game by Aku Aku that the two were known to have been off Island at the time of Cortex's firing of the Neo Cannon causing the destruction to N-Sanity Island at the time.

The two are not shown during the game play, but it is revealed at the end, that Reese and Coco are in a relationship, as the two eventually are shown by the end of the game, holding hands, confirming that Coco and Reese are in a relationship, and that Reese is finally free of Aimi's clutches once and for all.
